The FX+ Program (‘FX+’) is GCM’s flagship product. It carries a 7 year track record and trades in the most liquid global market in the world, the USD $ 4 trillion per day interbank spot FX market. The FX+ is concentrated on the G10 FX Majors and Crosses plus Gold and Silver Bullion. The product is long/short and capable of performing in most market environments. The FX+ utilizes GCM’s proprietary systematic trading strategy across multiple instruments and time horizons with pre-allocated risk and profit objectives inherent in all trading signals at trade inception. The FX+ has an attractively low to negative correlation to traditional asset classes.
GCM’s GAIA Gold Program commenced trading for clients in July 2021 following one year of proprietary capital trading and offers long/short deployment of capital into the Global Spot Gold Markets.
The GAIA Gold Program is a systematic trend following investment program that seeks to deliver strong risk-adjusted alpha return with low correlation to other asset classes. The program utilizes a multi-price tracking signal generator which looks for price anomalies across short term time horizons. Once identified, the system then generates a buy or sell signal straddling the market in an attempt to benefit from the impending trend. Risk management and profit objectives are implemented upon initiation of each trade. The GAIA Gold Program trades solely in the Spot Gold Bullion Market. The GAIA Gold Trading Program was specifically designed for Retail/HNW investors with a medium risk tolerance. Following the extreme volatility early in 2022 we paused the Gold program to new investment. The model continued to run in the background and was re-instated to client accounts in April 2022 with a more restrictive risk overlay.
GCM’s Currency Overlay Programme commenced trading in January 2019 and offers long/short deployment of capital into the Global Spot FX markets.
The Currency Overlay Program is an Institutional Product that utilizes the identical signals generated by the Flagship FX+ Program however is customizable depending upon risk appetite and leverage requirements. The Currency Overlay Program only trades in the Spot FX Markets primarily in the G10 Majors and Crosses.
